TERMS OF SALE

1. ORDER CONFIRMATION

By signing the purchase order at one of the TriFacade stores, you are agreeing to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. In addition to appearing in detail on the order, the General Terms of Sale are available on our website and in-store. The price invoiced is the one displayed and from which any applicable discounts will be subtracted.

2. ORDER CANCELLATION

You have the option to cancel your order partially or fully within three (3) days for special orders (customized or customer-specified items) and within seven (7) days for regular orders following your purchase. To initiate a cancellation, contact your in-store advisor or our customer service team. If the cancellation is made within the specified timeframes, the entire amount will be refunded. Beyond these time limits, TriFacade will apply cancellation fees as follows:

  • A minimum of 50% of the value of the cancelled items for any special order.
  • 15% of the value of the cancelled items or a credit note equivalent to the total amount already paid for the cancelled items for any regular order.

For all orders related to specialized collections, such as pergolas and awnings, you have the option to cancel your order up to 24 hours before the order is placed with the supplier. All costs associated with the order (travel, design, and site pre-visit) must be paid to TriFacade. After these deadlines, TriFacade will impose cancellation fees equal to 50% of the value of the cancelled items.

3. PAYMENT

TriFacade accepts the following forms of payment: credit card (Visa, American Express, or Mastercard), certified check, bank draft, cash, or wire transfer. No order will be delivered unless the invoice has been paid in full at least three (3) working days prior to the delivery date.

4. DEPOSITS

A minimum deposit of 50% is required for any order completed in-store. No order will be processed prior to the collection of the deposit.

5. FULFILLMENT TIME

TriFacade is dependent on the delivery schedule of its suppliers. Products are offered subject to supply availability and thus within a non-guaranteed time frame. If a delay or stock shortage prevents the delivery of an ordered item within a reasonable time frame, TriFacade will notify the customer to determine an appropriate solution.

6. DELIVERY

The accuracy of the delivery address and telephone numbers is the customer's responsibility. TriFacade assumes no responsibility for any delay or failure to deliver as a result of incorrect or incomplete contact information. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery can be made in adequate conditions, which includes but is not limited to verifying the accessibility of the premises, clearing the area where the furniture will be placed, and validating the availability of the elevator, ramp, or loading dock. The customer must notify TriFacade of any issues that could interfere with the successful delivery of the order.

The customer is also responsible for checking the condition of the package at the time of delivery. In the event of a compliance issue, the customer must communicate the issue to the delivery person(s) before installation is completed or within 24 hours after receiving the delivered items without installation. TriFacade may, at its sole discretion and without any liability or penalty, deliver products through partial deliveries to the customer. Each delivery will be considered a separate sale, and the customer must pay for the units shipped, whether or not this shipment constitutes partial fulfillment of their purchase order.

7. DELIVERY BY INDEPENDENT CARRIER HIRED BY THE CUSTOMER

TriFacade.com accepts no responsibility concerning deliveries subcontracted to an independent carrier hired by the customer. Any delay in delivery after the merchandise has left our warehouse at the scheduled time will not be the legal responsibility of TriFacade.com. In such cases, no compensation will be granted. Additionally, TriFacade cannot be held liable in the event of a problem or dispute with an independent carrier (delay, strike, loss, damage, etc.). The dispute must be resolved directly with the carrier concerned.

8. DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION FEES

Unless otherwise specified, delivery and installation costs will be applied according to the rates in effect and the option chosen by the customer. The customer has up to 72 hours before the delivery to modify their delivery date. Beyond this deadline, TriFacade will apply charges equivalent to the delivery costs to the customer. In cases where the delivery cannot be completed—due to the customer's absence or any issues related to the delivery location—additional retrieval fees equivalent to the delivery costs will be applied.

9. CUSTOMER PICKUP

When picking up an order at the warehouse or in-store, the customer must confirm the opening hours, have their purchase order in hand, and have paid the balance of their invoice beforehand. Upon taking possession of the item(s), the customer must verify the good condition of the product(s) and report any irregularity to TriFacade personnel immediately. The customer must also inform personnel if the product received does not correspond to the product ordered (incorrect reference code, wrong color, missing item, etc.).

10. STORAGE FEES

Once notified of the receipt of their order, the customer has 90 days to retrieve and schedule the delivery of their order. Beyond this timeframe, TriFacade reserves the right to no longer hold the product for the customer, which may result in the loss of delivery priority.
